Short Biography of the Managing Director

Mag.^a Maria-Theresia Röhsler was born in Vienna in 1976. She is married and has two children. Since November 2011, Maria-Theresia Röhsler has served as the Managing Director of Schienen-Control GmbH, which houses the Schienen-Control Commission as well as the Agency for Passenger Rights (apf).

 

Previously, Röhsler worked as a lawyer at the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation, and Technology (BMVIT). Before that, she gained experience with international organizations, the Institute for European and International Law at the University of Vienna, the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Human Rights, and a Viennese law firm.

 

Maria-Theresia Röhsler studied law in Vienna and Washington, D.C. Following her studies, she completed postgraduate programs at the London School of Economics and Political Science, the Carlson School of Management, and the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
